The Buckeye Valley Chamber of Commerce is honored to recognize the following:
The Chamber is proud to announce one of our own Directors, Kathryn Tracy, Kathryn S. Tracy, Accounting, has been selected to serve on the IRS Information Reporting Program Advisory Committee (IRPAC). The IRPAC was established in 1991 and focuses on information reporting issues. The committee's purpose is to provide an organized public forum for discussion of revelant tax administration issues between IRS offices and representatives of the public. Members serve a three year term and provide the IRPAC "key perspectives and recommendations that assist the IRS in making the right decisions about information reporting for taxpayers," said IRS Comissioner Doug Shulman. Congratulations, Kathryn!

The law firm of Faith, Ledyard, Nickle & Shelsky, PLC, recently announced its managing attorney and founder, Paul J. Faith was named to the 2010 List of "Southwest Super Lawyers." Mr. Faith was also honored with inclusion in the 2010 national corporate counsel edition of "Super Lawyers" as a top real estate attorney and the 2010 edition of "The Best Lawyers in America" in the specialty of Real Estate Law. These publications honor the top 5% of attorneys in Arizona and nationally.

Mr. Faith and the firm of Faith, Ledyard, Nickel & Shelsky, PLC were also recently honored with a listing in the 2010 Martindale Hubble "Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers." Only the top 5% nationally of attorneys and law firms with the absolute highest rating for skills and ethics are included.
This year marks the 31st anniversary of Mr. Faith's law practice in the West Valley.

Sarah Edwards, daughter of Scott and April Edwards of Tonopah, was crowned Miss Helzapoppin' PRCA Rodeo on March 13, 2010. Sarah will be representing the Helzapoppin' PRCA Rodeo and the Town of Buckeye all over the state of Arizona on behalf of the Buckeye Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Shown below with her sister Leah, Sarah graduated from Buckeye Union High School on May 20, 2010.
She will be attending Iowa State University in the fall, assisted by scholarship funds she won in the Miss Helzapoppin' Rodeo competition. Sarah was also awarded a scholarship by WalMart.
